Catch up...

Can I just tell you how much i love my new puppy? Sophie is amazing and we're having such a great time. For those of you who haven't seen or met Sophie yet, you are missing out on life. She is such a ball of energy and she's definitely keeping me entertained! She's starting to want to cuddle, which is terribly exciting for me because this is why I wanted a puppy. All in all, she's amazing and you should come visit as soon as possible.

Easter was last weekend and I got the opportunity to go home for a few days. I ended up staying a little longer than the weekend, but it was great to get the rest and be at home with the family. Sophie loved being at home and all the attention she got. Of course, mom and dad were in love and I had a lot of help with her. I got to hang out with my grandmother one day and my brother all weekend. All in all, it was a great weekend.

Classes are finally beginning to wind down. There's about 2 weeks left in the semester. This is crunch time, but suprisingly I'm not terribly stressed yet. I think my finals will be okay and I'm in a good position right now as far as grades go. I'll have a couple of weeks before I start my summer classes. In one of my last blogs I mentioned that I was offered the scholarship for the Social Work program and I was debating whether or not to take it. I did take it so I am officially back into the Social Work program. The offer was just too good to pass up and I feel like I wasn't making an informed decision before. I'm so wishy-washy, but I feel good about this decision and the best part is, my schooling is entirely paid for! How can you not be excited about that!!!! I'm also excited about the summer classes and I'm looking forward to those starting. All in all, I'm ready for the semester to be over with.

The job is going so well. I'm really starting to get the hang of it and I'm loving it. The staff at Calvary is amazing and I'm enjoying working there. I think this has been the best first ministry work experience I could have asked for. I am so blessed to be here and working toward my goal. All in all, the job is amazing and I'm so lucky!
