Thankful for the weekends.

It's been a pretty good couple of weeks. Three weekends ago, mom and dad came for a visit. It was a great weekend filled with shopping, eating, and laughing. It was great to see them for a few days as well as to get out of town. Two weekends ago, it rained, and rained, and rained some more. It was the perfect weekend to stay inside and watch movies and of course, nap! It was so relaxing that I almost forgot I had homework! This past weekend, JD and I took his sister, Sydney, to the zoo here in Waco. We got to see all kinds of animals including the new ones, not to mention the wild snake off the path! Afterwards, we went home and watched the UT game and then on Sunday watched the Cowboys game. Who knew I could love NFL football. We had a big party at his family's home with nachos and steak! A good time was had by all.

But now, back to the grind. Groups, homework, class, rinse and repeat! Thankful for the weekends!
