oh, Halloween

Today was such a refreshing day! Tonight at kids group, we celebrated Halloween with the kids at the shelter by making trail mix, eating cupcakes, playing halloween bingo and decorating candy bags for trick-or-treating tomorrow. Sarah V. did a great job of planning all the activities and the kids really loved it! It's so great to see the kids smiling. They were so excited about the balloons, the ghosts, and the food! I loved it! It was great to see genuine happiness in the eyes of those kiddos!

Midterms are over! Praise the Lord! I can't believe that it's the first of November! School is going well and I'm excited about the semester being over. Currently, I've got lots of papers due before the finals. It's busy, but things are going well. I still love my job. I'm having a great time.
