Birthday goodness

Yesterday was my birthday and I've officially hit the road to mid-life. Twenty-six wasn't as hard as twenty-five was. I had an absolutely great day and I was once again reminded of the amazing friends that God has blessed me with. The day started out with a test but even that couldn't stop the fun that was to be had. My covenant group had a cake, I was treated to lunch by a dear friend, and then about 12 friends gathered at On the Border for a celebratory dinner. Some of my closest friends were there and it was a great time for laughter and smiles. The fun will continue this weekend as my parents drive in from Arkansas for the weekend.

But more than fun, I was reminded again of the great relationships that God has blessed me with here at Truett. I am so thankful for every person in my life. Because of them, I am able to be a better person. Throughout life's difficulties and tests, I know that they will always be there for me - and that blows my mind when I think about it.
