Please allow me to express myself. Can I just tell you about the bad luck I've had the past couple of weeks.

1. Bike stolen (a few weeks ago, but still relevant)
2. Snake in the apartment - yes, I killed it!
3. Rear-ended at stop light - no damage to car, thankfully
4. Called racist by the one who hit me
5. Sophie chewed the electrical cord on my alarm - yes she was shocked, but she's fine
