I'm usually not a huge "missing person" follower on the news, but lately I have been enthralled with the coverage of little Caylee Anthony who has been missing for over a month now. I can't give you a specific reason why I started watching the coverage, but it has peaked my interest - too much psychology in college! find myself every time I turn on the TV trying to find coverage of something new that has happened today. I have to be honest and say that I have completely given myself to this little girl. I really hope they find her (tomorrow is her b-day) but I'm afraid that the worst has happened.

Today, in the midst of the coverage of Caylee, breaking news came through stating John Edwards has admitted to an affair, WHEN HIS WIFE WAS BATTLING CANCER!! Are you kidding me? What was this guy thinking? It got me thinking about government and how (I believe) each and every man in Washington in politics has a god complex. He probably thought he wouldn't get caught, now there is a child in the midst of all of this. Way to go, duffus! I guess you can take a hint from Mr. Clinton about how to get away with this!

The olympics won't get any of my attention this summer. Beijing supports the evil that is occuring in Sudan. Can we simply over look this? I can't. Plus, I'm just not a huge olympic fan. Call me un-American if you must, but I'll be okay. After two weeks of olympics, then comes coverage of the political conventions. I guess that means I won't be watching TV for a while!

Needless to say, I really need to keep out of the news. I'll stick to Nick-at-Nite. Fresh Prince and Tim Taylor have never steered me wrong!
