Fall has arrived.......

Well, the weather is only slightly cooler, yet it is starting to feel like fall in Waco. It's so painful to think about the fact that it is October. The semester is flying by and it seems as if I can't help but keep up. I was thinking this weekend how quickly the weeks are passing but I guess that's what happens when you're so busy. I am extremely busy this semester - mostly trying to keep my head above water while working 2 jobs. Honestly, I love being busy. I hate the toll it takes on friendships and relationships, but it's a good feeling to feel needed and wanted.

I actually stopped long enough last week to realize that in 7 months I'll have an MSW. If you would have told me even 4 years ago that I would be right here, right now, I would have laughed in your face. I'm so excited about the end that I'm forgetting to enjoy the process - and I hate that! So, I'm trying to soak in every minute - with people I won't see after this summer and with friendships that are bound to end after May.

I'm looking forward to the holidays and being home for a while. Thanksgiving holiday will be spent in El Dorado as well as Helena making final arrangements for the internship. I actually got to speak with my supervisor last week and his energy was contagious! I'm getting more and more excited as the information continues to come in. I'm definitely looking forward to the growth that is bound to come in my life from this experience!
