Lent

So, I've given up facebook for Lent. I'm about 4 days into it and I'm dying. I never realized exactly how much time I spent on facebook. I realize that is the point of giving up something for lent, but it's been difficult. I feel so isolated and out of the loop from my friends. It's amazing how much I communicate on facebook. I've had to resort to cell phone calls and email! I know, life's rough!

Other than that, things are going really well. It seems as if I've found my stride in school. My social work classes, as well as my internship, are going really well. It's a good feeling after struggling so long with my call and social work. I'm thankful I stayed.

Next week, Sophie and I both turn a year older. Friday the 22nd, I will celebrate my 27th and on Saturday the 23rd Sophie will celebrate her 1st. We are both not very excited, but looking forward to being with each other on our special days.

I don't have much of anything else to report. It's been busy around here, but good.
