Spring Break!

Spring Break is here and I'm going home! I cannot wait to jump in my car tomorrow afternoon for the 6 hour drive. I can't wait to hit the Arkansas state line. I can't wait to pull into El Dorado. But more importantly, I can't wait to pull into the driveway at home and have my parents meet me (and Sophie too) outside, just as excited to see us as we are to see them.

I don't really plan on doing anything extraordinary - time with the fam, celebrating mine and Michael's birthday, and rest and relaxation. However, one fun thing is I'm going to the capital city to spend time with my best friend from college. I haven't seen her since last summer and I love the time I get to spend with her, and now her husband. We always have a great time so I know that it'll be lots of fun to see her.

It seems like this semester is flying, but at the same time slowly moving along. The internship is still good, nothing terribly exciting is happening, just social work!! I can't believe that I'm more than half-way through the MSW degree. All I have left is the fall semester and another internship in the spring and that degree is finished. WHAT!!!! I can't believe this! How scary is that? They are actually going to give me a master's degree!!! What are they thinking??

Oh well, I guess they know what they are doing!
