Home Sweet Home

Well, I finally made it home for Christmas vacation. You know, I had been planning on doing nothing for a few days and simply relaxing. Well, I've done that and I'm ready to move on! I have forgotten how simply life is when you're not in school, writing papers, or living in the same town as your boyfriend. I'm freakin' bored! My dad and brother have spent a good majority of their time duck hunting and my mother is less than enthusized about going out and about. I've resigned myself to sitting in front of the TV and rotting. I'm waiting on internship reading material in the mail. It looks like I'll get a lot done before January 5th.

Christmas was good. The weather was beautiful on Christmas day - couldn't have asked for a prettier day. However, I have to admit that after lunch, I really was no good at life. I ended up sleeping most of the afternoon - long story involving a sleepless dog! Needless to say, the day went by very quickly.

I'm currently sitting in the plush home of my pastor and his wife while they are away with family. I'm house/dog sitting and I'm loving it! I couldn't ask for better friends! At least it's giving me something to look forward to doing!

I've got a DR's appointment in Little Rock on the 30th and I'm looking forward to doing a little shopping then too! After all, that's what after Christmas is all about!
