Wow...

Whew, it's been a while since my last post! I have to say that a lot has happened since the last post. First and foremost, the wedding planning has come a long way. I purchased my wedding gown this past weekend over the July 4th holiday. Mom and dad came into town and we went shopping. It was the second dress I tried on and it's beautiful! I can't wait to show everyone! I took a new job as of the end of June as Volunteer Coordinator and Community Educator at the FAC. It's a great job and I love it! JD and I spent some time in Colorado in June. We had a great time hanging out with his family. We also went to Cheyenne, Wyoming, Pike's Peak, and Garden of the Gods. After that week, we spent the weekend in Arkansas picking out the wedding venue. It's been a whirlwind of a summer and it seems to keep speeding up!

Next week will be one year since grandmother died. With all the wedding planning, I find myself wishing my grandparents were still around. But I know they are with me in spirit. JD and I are working on something special for the wedding.
