First week

So, I feel like I need to give an update as to how the first week of the internship went, as well as the first week of classes. Let me begin by saying that God is truly working in my life no matter how much I think He isn't. I am truly enjoying my internship thus far. The volunteers are amazing at Helping Hands and the clients have been great so far. Obviously, I can't talk about anything, but please know that the experience has been great this far and I'm excited to see how everything plays out through the summer. I'm actually starting to feel like a social worker and I'm starting to enjoy it!

Classes are over for me for the week and I'm feeling good about the classes also. The work load definitely seems do-able. However, I'm exhusted already! The drive to Belton three days a week, work, and then classes is slowly wearing me out. I think that I'll get used to it, but for right now, I'm catching naps whenever I can!

I'm moving tomorrow! My apartment is AMAZING! Fireplace, porch, and a huge bedroom! I'm so excited about being closer to campus and being closer into town. I'm not going to miss the snakes, loud neighbors who like to hear Sophie bark, and thieves!

It seems that this semester is starting off better than the last.
