I've been inspired by friends' blog to post more often. However, I realize that the three of you that actually read this thing probably don't care, but it's cathartic for me, so here goes.
Day camp started last week with 83+ kids and close to 120 this week. It's been a very quick introduction to the kids and I've been spending my time learning names and faces. It's been a whirlwind but it's been good, too. I've met some cool people at camp as well and that always makes a new transition easier.
It's been nice not having classes, etc. but I'm also very aware that the licensing exam is looming overhead. I've really got to find the motivation....
I just finished a great book! This is a must read, but get ready to cry at the end. The movie is coming out later this month but I'm not sure I can bear to see it in person! I've never read anything by Jodi Picoult but I highly recommend this book!
Michael started his job as an El Dorado Police officer. It's been a stressful time for the entire family, but I have to trust that he is capable of making his own decisions, no matter how I may disagree. My grandmother has been in the hospital for a few weeks now - congestive heart failure, gallbladder removal, and fluid on the heart. My poor mother has been running ragged. Needless to say, this summer has been full of transitions and hard times for the family. No matter what is going on in my life, I have to keep remembering that God is in control and over everything.
Well, that's really all that's been on my plate lately!

Yay for posting! At least you have 3 followers. I think I may have only 1.
I couldn't open the link to the Jodi book. But, if you meant My Sister's Keeper, then you should know that I'm reading it too!
