Just because

so, i really have nothing to post other than the fact that i really want to write something. my hope for this blog is that by the time i'm bored of writing something important will have emerged.

as i'm writing i'm listening to some music and realizing how much i depend on music to express my feelings. from love songs for a savior to pure oldies, i'm realizing just how much i cannot express what i wish i could, but music does it so well for me. right now some favorites include elvis, joey + rory, and a little selah. wow, ipods are great!

life's been a little stressful over the past few days. grandmother had her surgery and so far everything is good. she's 87 and refusing to give in to disease. she's an amazingly strong woman who i don't think i could part with just yet. along with wondering what's going on in her body, i've began the job search with little results. with all my eggs in the baylor basket, i'm now back at square one. obviously baylor is not interested and i'm now looking at retail again. and that's all i'm going to say about that!
