Saturday

It's Saturday night. JD is currently somewhere between Colorado Springs and Waco, Texas, driving his parents moving van back to Texas. Therefore, I have some time to myself and I felt like blogging.

It's been a crazy week at camp. A lot has happened (can't really discuss it in the blog) but let's just say that I've been shocked by what I've seen! I can't really remember being as "grown up" as these kids are. My life's been tough at times but I've never dealt with these issues. The social work education is definitely helping here!!

I got up this morning at 4am to take JD to the airport in Dallas. I was back by 830am! Oh yeah, it was definitely a quick trip, but thankfully, I was able to sleep most of the day!

I've been looking up jobs around the city and filling out applications! I hate this process!

Please continue to pray for my grandmother. Talked to dad yesterday and it seems as if her heart is failing (again). She's dazed and confused and groggy still. Please pray that God's will be done.
